#BlindLocation - 50

I'm sorry I keep pointing out the number each week, but we are at WEEK 50, and I'm just blown away by not just the support from all of you but by myself and that I've had the willpower to keep this project going all year.

My 50th week and 50th model is of my neighbor, Manasvi. We picked our #BlindLocation spot at our apartment complex, and ended up on the street corner literally in front of my apartment complex. So, didn't get very far, but that's ok. We landed on a great street corner with lots to work with.

The idea for this week was to use a direct flash for every shot, and I wanted the photos to seem as if I was taking paparazzi photos of her. I was inspired by Kim Kardashian's trip in Japan where she was promoting Kanye's Yeezy clothes. Whether you like the Kardashian's or not, there's no denying their business genius, and I was so impressed by this episode, because Kim and Kanye had come up with the plan to promote the new Yeezy line by having the paparazzi take Kim's photos.

Typically, you'd want to hide from the paparazzi, but Kim was actively seeking to have her photo taken, but pretending not to. It resulted in one long giant free photoshoot of the Yeezy clothing. Genius marketing.

Anyway, I was inspired by the episode, and so I had Manasvi pretend as if I was the paparazzi for this shoot. She's never been photographed professionally, but she WORKED the camera. I've never witnessed such confidence to be honest. It was a total honor and privilege shooting with her, and I hope to do it again in the future, hopefully in my new studio, which will be opening in 2020!

More on that later. In the meantime, enjoy the video and photos of this week's #BlindLocation. Thanks for watching. =)
