I decided to make this week's shoot very chill with Jonah Peake. What makes a shoot chill you ask? For starters, we mostly played catch-up during the shoot. I've known Jonah for almost 9 years. When I first moved to San Diego, I worked at a surf school as the photographer, and he was one of the surf instructors. We don't see each other too often, so it was fun to just hang out.
The second thing that made this an easy shoot was black and white edits. I swear when you edit in black and white, it's just magic. You don't have to do anything to them. Black and white is so pure and timeless.
Jonah's got a chiseled face, so we went with a GC rugged, heartthrob vibe. I think he nailed it.
