#BlindLocation - 13

Of course it rains on the 13th #BlindLocation of the year. I'm not superstitious, but I needed to point out the coincidence. lol.

This week's shoot was with my friend, Ally Seagrave. We set out to make a few experimental photos, trying to mimic some images I found via Pinterest. I think this kind of project is great for anyone who is trying to learn a new technique, especially if it has to do with Photoshop, since that is what I was using to get all of the final images.

It's really easy to get into a routine creatively, so having fun every now and then, and allowing yourself to mess up is a great exercise in expanding your reach creatively. I think failing is part of growing, and we can't expect to get better as photographers if we keep doing what's safe.
