Like I've been saying all along, I'm experimenting with this #OffLocation project. With that, has come a lot of learning.
One of the biggest things I've learned about painting is I DO NOT like using a paintbrush. I'd rather use literally anything else to paint.
Hands, squeegee, scraper, paper, plastic, spray paint, water gun, slingshot... just not a paintbrush.
Another thing that's happened since starting this project 10 weeks ago is I've found my voice again.
For awhile I felt like I had lost it. I didn't know what to say. I didn't know how to speak.
There was a thick darkness in the world, and I didn't want to be a voice in it. I didn't want to risk saying something wrong and sprinkling in more darkness.
Welllll, in hindsight I can see that was called Depression & Fear, and I'm not about giving into that kind of energy for too long. So, here I am, announcing I have found my voice and intend to start using it again.
I'm also going to be changing up what I'm doing with #OffLocation to incorporate my voice more, pulling back from the abstract a bit in an effort to connect the way I crave to do with all of you and with my higher self.
**Never done growing over here.**
I'm also going to start shooting again. I took a much needed pandemmy break, and it was what I needed. But I'm back bitches. 🤘🏽😝🚀
