To celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year and Year of the Dragon, I created 27 handmade, wheatpasted "good luck charms" and placed them in envelopes I bought a couple of weeks ago in NYC's Chinatown. Then I hid them throughout downtown San Diego as a scavenger hunt for my Instagram followers. A video was posted promptly after all of the pieces were placed, and the hunting began!

We had a good amount of people participate, and everyone seemed stoked on their findings.

This was my first limited series art project. Each piece was numbered 1/27 through 27/27, creating a scarcity approach to this series. I had an unexpected response to this project and several requests for me to do it again.
